Getting Started with Accord LTE: A Step-by-Step Guide

Guides·2 January 2025

Welcome to Accord LTE. This guide will take you from zero to a fully configured project in about 15 minutes. No prior experience required.

Step 1: Create your account. Visit accordlte.com and click "Get Started Free". Enter your name, email, and a password. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to confirm your address.

Step 2: Set up two-factor authentication. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA for security. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy), enter the six-digit code, and save your backup codes somewhere safe.

Step 3: Choose a plan. The free trial gives you 14 days with up to 100 items and 5 users. No credit card needed. You can upgrade anytime.

Step 4: Create your first project. Enter a project name, optional code, start and end dates, and man-hours per day. You can also invite team members at this stage — just enter their email addresses.

Step 5: Add items. Navigate to the Items section and click "Add Item". Select an item class (or create a new one), fill in the properties, and save. For bulk setup, use the Import feature to upload an Excel file with your item register.

Step 6: Upload documents. Go to the Documents section, drag and drop your files, and add metadata like title, tags, and category. Link documents to items for full traceability.

Step 7: Create your first inspection. Navigate to Inspections, click "New", and either build a form from scratch or browse the template library. Assign the inspection to a team member and set a due date.

That's it — you're up and running. Explore the dashboard for real-time analytics, set up roles and permissions in the Settings section, and check out the Help Center for detailed guides on every feature.
